The Espacio AV in collaboration with the estate of Francesca Woodman (1958 Denver-1981 New York), presents an exhibition which will be the second opportunity in Spain to see the work of this artist now recognised as a pioneer in her work dealing with problems of identity, gender and the female image. With a marked autobiographical character, Woodman s photographs show her in melancholy settings, rooms in which the artist portrays solitude, oblivion and the passing of time.
