Damin Ortega. Construction Modules gathers writings of theoreticians and critics who reflect on the artist's work. For this compilation, Luciano Concheiro San Vicente selected essays, catalog texts, articles and interviews that assemble a journey through the work of Damin Ortega, from his practice as a cartoonist at the end of the 1990s, to the exhibition of his work in different museums and galleries of the world. In addition to the texts on the work of Damin Ortega, a series of images of the artist's sculptural work and a visual essay by Ortega in 2015 is presented. A chronology that aims to provide a certain context for the writings that make up the book is presented, which guides the reader in temporal terms, provides biographical information and informs about exhibitions in which no significant essays were written.
